L'Atelier de Jean-Luc Rabanel in Arles
Jean Luc Rabanel is known in France for being the first “Bio chef” or “green chef”: he uses vegetables in more than 80% of its dishes. He has his own vegetable garden bio in Camargue, where it cultivates in particular salsify, horseradish, zucchini flower, parsnip, “blette”, sweet potato, Jerusalem artichoke, which enables him to propose a very original chart!
L'Atelier received its first Michelin star in spring 2007 and a second one in 2009, 2010 and 2011. A kind of dedication for this man of conviction.
In 2012 L'atelier got "5 toques" from the Gault & Millau guide. Only 13 restaurants are at the same level France.
Eating at L’Atelier is just a great experience you should absolutely try while in Arles, each meal is a true experiment made of succession of more astonishing dishes the ones than the others..
Remarkable for a very reasonable price !! Enjoy !!
