Le Galoubet - Arles

Le Galoubet is the favourite restaurant of known people coming to Arles. During ferias and Les Rencontres de la Photo it’s the place to be for great fun and dishes.
We were particularly please to be welcome on September 2009 by a new owner as well as new Chef. Try the magret de canard (duck) and the foie gras.. Just perfect! And enjoy a wine chart, not a large one but really fine!
Better book, it’s often crowded and ask for a table on terrace when sunny!

it's a mystake. Not traditionnal provençal kitchen, only for tourist and expensive for a menu with fries potatoes

The Galoubet is one of the finest place in Arles.. simple and good..

Today, I had lunch at the Galoubet, next to the fireplace, with a friend of mine. They have a new formula "entrée du jour and plat du jour" for less than 20 Euros, it was so good! Plus, Frank the owner is really charming. Just behind the place du Forum, I seriously recommend this spot for good food, nice service, and charming ambiance. Bon appétit!
